p0st 1 :

Ok, I've decided. Got to start blogging again ;D
It's for the > good.

Pity though, lost all my archives from two-4-flinching.bs
Would make good nostalgic moments ;p .
But as Adam Khoo says,
The PAST doesn't equal to the FUTURE .
Woot. How much more random could that get .

Lets see, have you all noticed how irritating it gets when you go to a library and look to borrow a book? There will always be a case of, ' hey, this book looks interesting ', *reads synopsis*,
'Awesome, I'm going to borrow me this book'
'Aww crap, this ain't the first book'
In fact, it's the last book in the series/trilogy.

There goes the hope of a good read, dashed across rocks like how a self-preserving bird breaks the eggs of other variants, in hopes of increasing it's species survivability.

Come on! Like, we have a library quota of what, four books? Borrow the whole damned set wouldn't you? I wouldn't go home and read a book, only to be caught in a cliff hanger when I'm done and regretting not borrowing the other sequels.

Not only does this act keep one in uncomfortable suspense, it also acts as a killjoy to the rest of us. I mean, don't tempt us with the sequels! Ignorance is bliss in this case yes? We can always discover the books another day, heck, the library is here for an indefinite span of years. Surely it's more than enough time. =p

Just why people borrow just the first book eludes me. Sure they might not like the book after a good in-depth read. So they might not want to take the risk by using up their bookloan quota.

Firstly; If they found the book undesirable. Return it to the library then and borrow another book. Some people find it a hassel to bring multiple books up and down. I believe that nowadays. there are some man-made inventions which I think are called...Bags. Yea.

Secondly; If you ain't gonna risk investing in such ventures, then WHY borrow a book in a series. We have something called novels too =D . So some people might not have the time in their OH-SO busy schedules to sit down for a good read, yet feel the call of high-sea swashbuckling calling in their blood. Yes, the novels are waving to you too.

Do everyone a favour, read what you can digest -( no pun intended ) - and leave the heavy task of ploughing through trilogies to us =D

With that said,

I'm currently reading the Temeraire series and yes, I did borrow the trilogy ;D
Took me a good half hour to actually find a book that had following continuations available at that point in time.

Hooked onto : Paramore - Conspiracy, after chancing across a video of one of their performances. Damn, Hayley is hot, packing a powerhouse vocal as well. *drools*

Paramore - A pop, punk band, no overly screaming solos, gothic make up. This is all good, clean in-your-face, pump-it-up pop. Worth a good listen.

Also, practising on Lil' Iris (guitar), came across the tab for Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelins. Man are they Good. Been trying out the tab. Am impressed =D

I had a dream lastnight, more of nightmare. =/
I dreamt that she died . It was really disturbing.

Then i told her I had cancer just now. Lol =x
PRP tuesday =D

Alr then. Thats my 5 cents . Til tmr =)
