Was I just Cloverfield-ed?

It's not easy overcoming the age barrier.

Some guys and I decided to watch The Mist today. Moses and I did fine when checked for ID. Cheers for 16. Han was barred from entering the theaters, ouch. I even went to the extent to try to sweet talk the bouncer into closing one eye, din't work though. Did however, manage to 'smuggle' Hanwen and Quanfeng in. \/(^.^ )b . The worst thing was that Weichong made it past the 'border' . double ouchie to han ;p . Yet he opted to stay with Han and together they watched another movie, '27 Dresses'. Kawaii nehx ._.

The Mist
/Major Spoilers/

Like. Alright, I'll give it an 8.
The movie had a tense undercurrent throughout, mostly resulting from the low pitched thumping that resonated throughout most of the film.

So, I found out that the Monsters that had invaded the area was a Military Experiment gone wrong. (Cliche)
But here's where a novel ide - (or more like ripped off from Half-Life™) - eea comes in, it ain't the usual. 'Mad scientists experimenting on genetically-modifying (no, not food) creatures and pretty soon lose control over their experiments, leaving them to run rampant.' idea.

Instead, it's a group of scientists that believe that there are other dimensions co-existing with ours. By attempting to create a window, they aimed to have more insight on these...worlds. But when the Window became a Door?

Welcome to The Mist.

My absolute high point of the movie was when the Heretic Bitch was shot. Twice ^^. I kinda punched the air, hissing: Yes! , much to the amusement of the other viewers beside me. Die you misleading, psychodelical Bitch. ,,,';..;',,, rawr.

The ending was pretty much crap. Shan't talk more about it here. But , IF ONLY THEY HAD WAITED 15 SECONDS MORE.

Apart from that, the afternoon onwards was pretty much...crap.
